Students in this training are taught the 5NP (5 Needle Protocol), also known as Acudetox or The NADA Protocol ~ The practice of applying fine gauge, sterilized, one-time use stainless steel needles at five designated ear points in each ear, where they remain for 20-45 minutes while the person relaxes quietly in a comfortable chair often in a group setting. The 5NP aids in addressing drug and alcohol detoxification, chronic pain, depression, anxiety, stress, trauma and addiction recovery.
